Poso violence dossiers filed

JAKARTA: The South Jakarta prosecutors' office submitted Monday dossiers on seven Poso violence suspects to the South Jakarta District Court.
"We expect the schedules of their trials to be confirmed within the next one or two weeks," Attorney General's Office spokesman Thomson Siagian was quoted as saying by Detik.com.
"The case will be handled by five prosecutors from the South Jakarta prosecutors' office and 11 prosecutors from the AGO."
Thomson said the seven suspects, Muhammad Basri alias Ayas alias Bagong, Agus Nur Muhammad alias Agung Jenggot, Tugian alias Iran, Amril Ngiode alias Aat alias Moket, Rahman Kalahe alias Wiwin alias Torno, Ridwan alias Duan and Ardin Djanatu alias Rojak, violated a 2003 law on terrorism.
Meanwhile, another suspect in the case, Abdul Muis bin Kamaludin, is currently being tried in the South Jakarta district court after his dossier was filed last week. -- JP
