Live grenade found in Palu

PALU, Central Sulawesi: A package found by a woman in front of a bank on Thursday in Palu was found to contain an active grenade.
"I thought it was someone else's valuables ... ," Elia, 55, told The Jakarta Post on Thursday.
The retired civil servant said she put the package back down after a relative warned her the package might be bomb.
Elia said she reported the package to a passing-by police officer, who alerted the bomb squad.
The package was examined by the squad and found to contain an active grenade. the package and found out it was a real and active grenade.
Palu city Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Sunarto said the police would investigate the incident further. -- JP
