Small blast in Poso causes no harm

INDONESIA: A bomb exploded next to the Poso regent's office Saturday evening but caused no damage or casualties. Police said the low-intensity explosion at 9:30 p.m. may have been conducted by parties intent on triggering instability after a week of calm.
Tension in the Central Sulawesi town has been high in the period leading up to and following the Sept. 22 execution of three Christian men convicted of masterminding a 2000 massacre. --JP
